I'm leaning towards an Acer Aspire One and am hoping it's possible to purchase this model without Windows installed. Also, I've been reading about Linpus, and from what I understand, Ubuntu would be a much better choice. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase an Acer Aspire One in Thailand with Ubuntu as the OS? Thanks. |

In the latests lists from Acer Thailand, all Aspire Ones either comes with Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP Home. That's not saying it's not possible, just might prove a bit difficult to find.
I think netbooks in general are hard to find without pre-installed Windows actually. |

I just learned that Acer is going to include Google's Android OS in Aspire One.
Has anyone here used Android on a netbook? |
