Hi there,
I am a keen snooker player and have been in bangkok for a while now but havent come across a DECENT snooker table yet. I have found a few full size snooker table and even a snooker club but all of them tables use the SMALL balls. What a waste of time that is. For me that is not playing proper snooker, thats just a messed up version of the game, know what i mean?
If anyone can point me in the direction of a PROPER snooker table with the FULL SIZE balls it would be much appreciated. I live near the sky train so i can get aroung fairly easily so location is not that important but i would like a NICE place to play snooker.
Thanks for the info in advance.

I know what you mean Rampa. There are a couple of decent clubs near Ding Dan, near the university. Personally I have bought a set of my own balls. As the ones at my club tend to be mixed up, and not of the best quality. There are lots of clubs around, but they tend to be slightly of the beaten track.

There is a Good Snooker Hall in the Mall, Bangkapi.
(eastern end of Ladprao Road -
near the Top of Ramkhamhaeng Road).
Top Floor, Inside the Bowling Alley, at the Far end.
It has 15 to 18 Full Size tables
BUT - I do not know the size of the Balls they use!!

Actually Bangkok is full of Snooker Clubs / Halls
go down almost any soi ... Often above Road level
- look up for the Signs.

There is a huge hall at the back of Major Cineplex,
Ramkhamhaeng Road.

A very large hall in Imperial (Big C ) Ladprao,
opposite Soi 94 (often empty !)
(There is an Ice Hockey Skating Rink there too !)

Enjoy
Roger

I'm sure Silks on Khaosan Road has a full size table. Not been for a while so not 100% certain.
