I am a farang fond of Thailand that visits the country at least once a year, usually in the "cold" season.

I have my own translation and interpretation business and am also working as a lecturer of a certain language (neither English nor Thai) at a certain university in a certain country in Central-Eastern Europe. I have always been a freelancer → now I am self-employed.

I am thinking of moving to Thailand - for a year or longer - in the future but first I have to improve my language skills. Maybe I will seek a job or look for some business opportunities in the Land of Smiles.
I have spent several years in Asia.

My hobbies include: learning foreign languages, travelling all over the world, riding a motorcycle/bicycle... and many others.
One of my favourite books is "Bangkok 8" by John Burdett.
