I am a journalist, photographer and videographer with more than 20 years experience working in developing countries in Asia and Africa.

I have held positions of editor, bureau chief, COS, foreign correspondent, and news editor.

In 1995 I was a Walkley Award finalist for my coverage on the Ebola outbreak in Zaire.

I established an international photo and news agency in Indonesia in 2000 and recruited and trained the local staff in journalism and photography.

I have written with authority on a broad range of topics including; engineering, science, construction, infrastructure, commodities, oil and gas, business, foreign investment, agriculture, transportation, technology, travel and tourism, human rights, war, and developing nations

I have also produced a number of in-house grammar and style guides for use by journalists and editors.

I have covered significant events such as the 1991 "pillage" in Zaire; the 1994 Rwandan genocide; the 1995 Ebola outbreak in Kikwit; the 2004 Asian Tsunami, both Bali bombings.

I also owned one of the first full service public relations companies in Australia to service the specific needs of high technology companies. I have experience at formulating and implementing above and below the line communications campaigns as well as in crisis and issues management and media relations in Australia and Asia.

I am familiar with and competent with a wide range of design, image manipulation and layoutout software for text, images and video.

I am experienced at content development for websites, marketing, and the use of SEO, and social networking for increasing website traffic.

I'm also an accomplished DJ and play tribal, hard house, trance, hard trance, hard dance, and psy trance genres.
