Hi Tom,
It's possible. Thailand is about to go thru a continuing economic scenario that will most likely produce a change in attitude....but if not then I'm in agreement with you 100%. My friends have all been to Cebu ( visited not lived) as well as Vnam. I've lived in Vnam, Thailand and have visited several others. I'm planning on visiting the PI to check it out. Next year.
