Hi,
I have heard that you can set up a "fake" company where you are the manager director and the only shareholder. On this way you can buy land and have controll over it, sell it if you want.
Is there any truth in this ? And if, have anybody done this ?.

Do not even think about it unless: you want to look over your shoulder every 5 mins for the rest of your days in Thailand!
The law is simple: If it's illegal and your Thai, ok maybe you will get away with it, BUT if you are a foreigner and it's illegal than you will lose it and maybe get de-ported if your lucky! Remember those guys who set it up for you "fake company" ect are the same guys who will shop you to the authorities and then claim your your investment........don't do it full stop. Sev :cool: |
