Hi,

My landlord provides me with cable, not much else. I have no idea what is going to come on when. Some of the English language channels have websites where you can view the individual schedules, I'm looking for a guide, booklet or online that might have the information.

Failing that, (which is a good bet), does anyone know how to find out the schedule for the movie channel (MM1) Mnet Movies 1 - it appears to originate in South Africa, and has the occasional watchable movie, but I have no advance warning of what they are going to offer. Spending over an hour on-line I find limited schedules that are incorrect for Thailand?

Any advice? Should I use rope instead of cable?

www.mnet.co.za

Be aware that the timings are behind us. I think it is about 5 hours behind.
Yes Samui cable is crap.

Though I haven't found a full channel guide for Koh Samui Cable, I think I finally figured out how to get the Mnet movie schedule. I went to the URL suggested: http://www.mnet.co.za

at that point you click on the icon for mnet movies, a new page opens, click on "Full Schedule" - it will take you here: http://www.mnet.co.z...lt.asp?selnav=2

[I was able to simplify this for a bookmark to: http://www.mnet.co.z...les/default.asp] but this is the closest you're going to get as you have to make some choices after this.

At this point you have to go to the "Choose" button which provides a pop-up menu with a slew of options. I chose Movie Magic (Africa). Which seems correct for today (I've only had about 8 hours to check its accuracy though). You just have to add 5 hours to the time indicated to correct for the time zone change.

So now you can see the schedule for all the second-rate movies available. Isn't that nice?
