First, if you're New to ThaiVisa.. Welcome to our little part of the world of ThaiVisa!!    

We all strive to make this an welcoming Forum, and our regular posters are kind, considerate, thoughtful... and sometimes even funny!

Go ahead and browse, but once you have sense of what's going on PLEASE don't be afraid to post here...!  Your Nickname gives you complete anonymity.. and without posters, there would BE no ThaiVisa Gay Forum.  

However, having said that, please take note everyone, offensive words, provoking, flaming, name-calling and bigoted posts will not be tolerated here. It's VERY possible to have a in-depth and heated discussion without becoming intolerant or extremely personal. It happens all the time in the civilized world, and there are MANY examples of great discussions and LONG threads on here, with our fabulous and intelligent members.  

We are really nice guys (honest!), but we will warn, suspend and/or ban members who don't follow this...  

Oh, and we will also edit any posts that wander off topic, or that have pointless and redundant comments.

Btw, if you DO see anything you consider to be offensive, please feel free to use the "REPORT" button on each message. That gets our attention... BUT please also let us know exactly which posting number you are objecting to (it's honestly not always obvious in a long topic..!)

One more thing.. ThaiVisa's general rules do not allow Personal Ads, Dating Ads (use http://dating.thaivisa.com)  or any postings of a "directly sexual nature".. so all posts regarding bars, places for services are to be of a "normal" nature please.. (if you're looking for "extras", then send a PM to the poster..!).  We also specifically cannot discuss "Bar-Boys". If you want to do that, we suggest that you go look at the Gay Forum that has "Sawasdee" in its name......    

(We didn't make the rules, we just have to enforce them...     )

My first addendum to the subforum guidelines here.  Topics of a gay-related nature are allowed here (as are women-related topics in the lady's subforum and teaching/education-related topics in the teaching subforum) without the need to be Thai-related.  Posters who only post to inquire about this will be presumed to be trolling and warned (at least).  Please check subforum guidelines carefully before posting, and enjoy posting on Thaivisa.

Just to be thorough and inclusive, a warm welcome to all members of the LGBT community, of whatever gender combinations and orientations.  Feel free to post about yourself here- no homophobic trolling or abusive language is permitted anywhere on Thaivisa, but it is especially strictly monitored in this subforum.

I am adding another new guideline to this subforum.  Attacks on subforum members in general ('all of the posters here are cowardly blah blah blah') or on Thaivisa members in general ('nobody would want to date someone who posts on TV') or on LGBT persons in general (this one is obvious) will be deemed inflammatory and usually removed at moderator discretion on sight, also potentially earning forum warnings and penalties.
