the last 7 years i've spent it in chang mai ,this year it will be in samui :o

Well I never realised Thai Loy Krathong happened some long after Lao Loy Krathong.

Nearly one month already . . . however it is the That Luang Festival this weekend. :o

for me  gotta be in the big p, nakula rd, mum arroy resteraunt, on the beach views up & down the coast food great and not big money, oh and they sell wine so i never go on my bike only taxi!

Heading to Nakhom Phatom for a festival with the other half they have there, day and night festival but day time for me then do the water thing with the Kratong, probably come home and do the usual Saturday night thing(beer or 2)

Anywhere on beach area of Pattaya is great for viewing the lanterns and  the floating of Kratong.  After dark until midnight or so.  The wind will play a big roll on how spectacular the lanterns perform.  Nothing like it. :o

In Chiang Mai inside the Old City looking at Thape Gate right now. Third year in a row...lovely and something everyone should experience at least once in their life.

Private beach at the old B. Saray clubhouse. Its' relatively quiet, I meant. :D
