Thaivisa Email Types

Email and PM notifications

These are sent from the forum when someone sends you Private Message (PM) or an email via the forum.

These emails will be marked in your inbox as -

<message title> ( Thailand Forum )  - Email via the forum notification

You have a new personal message ( Thailand Forum ) - Private message notification

These emails are sent from forum[at]thaivisa.com

Forum or Topic subscriptions

These emails are sent to you to notify that there has been a new topic or post made in a forum or topic you have subscribed to.

These emails will be marked in your inbox as -

Forum Subscription New Topic Notification ( Thailand Forum ) - Forum subscription notification

Topic Subscription Reply Notification ( Thailand Forum ) - Topic subscription notification

Newsletter / News alerts

These are sent to you so you can be kept up to date with breaking news and important news from Thailand.

These emails will be marked in your inbox as -

FORUM AND TOPIC SUBSCRIPTION NOTIFICATIONS - Instructions to unsubscribe

• Step 1 - Click on "My Controls" at the top of the forum page to enter your control panel

• Step 2 - Look down the left hand side of the control panel until you see the section "Subscriptions"

This is the section where you can remove subscriptions to topics or forums, and you will no longer receive subscription notifications by email.

REMOVING A TOPIC SUBSCRIPTION

• Click on "View Topics"

• You will then see a list of topics you are subscribed to

• To remove a topic subscription and stop receiving email notifications-

• Tick the box next to the topic you wish to unsubscribe from
  
• make sure "unsubscribe" is selected from the drop down box
  
• Click on "With selected"

• You will then be returned to the updated list - in this example there are no other topic subscriptions

REMOVING A FORUM SUBSCRIPTION

• Click on "View Forums"

• You will then see a list of forums you are subscribed to

• To remove a forum subscription and stop receiving email notifications-

• Tick the box next to the topic you wish to unsubscribe from
  
• make sure "unsubscribe" is selected from the drop down box
  
• Click on "With selected"

• You will then be returned to the updated list - in this example there are no other forum subscriptions

Newsletter Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from the news alerts please go to www.thaivisa.com/353.0.html.  

Fill in you email address and make sure you check "unsubscribe".



Alternatively you can follow the link at the bottom of the newsletter email, next to "Change address / Leave mailing list"

To Stop Receiving Email via the forum, and PM notifications.

• Click on "My Controls" at the top of the forum page to enter your control panel

• Click on "Email Settings"

To stop receiving emails via the forum (from other members), check the box next to "hide my email from other forum members (1)

To stop receiving notifications when you receive a PM, uncheck the box next to "send notification email when I receive a new private message" (2)

Click "amend my email settings" when finished for the actions to take effect (3)
