Not infrequently friends, family members and partners of folks with drinking problems come to this forum seeking help.

While it may not be possible for you to make the drinker stop drinking, you can obtain excellent help for yourself, at no cost, from people who have been through similiar situations themselves at  Al-Anon, which is a su[pport group for friends/family of alcoholics.

Al-Anon Meetings in Bangkok


Al-Anon Family Group meetings are twice a week in conference room 2 at Holy Redeemer Rectory,
123/19 Ruam Rudee Soi 5, down the street from Ploenchit Skytrain station.


Every Tuesday 17:00-18:00 (5-6 pm)
Every Saturday 16:30-17:30 (4:30-5:30 pm)

Al-Anon Meetings in In Chiang Mai

Every Saturday at 4 pm.
Location :
Seven Fountains Spirituality Centre. 97, Huay Kaew Road, Chiang Mai.

Directions: around 400 meters before the front gate of Chiang Mai University on Huay Kaew Road on the right hand side if you are coming from the center of town. it is next to Lanna 3 Condo. it is on the opposite side of the road, a little before the Boat restaurant. Follow Huay Kaew Rd out from the moat past Central Kad Suan Kaew which is immediately on the right hand side. Keep on going past the two big Rincombe and Phucombe intersections at which there are traffic lights. After the Phucombe intersection take the first U-Turn you can. After you have made your U-Turn Seven Fountains is about 50 meters back on the left hand side.
