Complacency is a sin in my household.   Taught since early childhood.   If people are without meat, rice, or *insert misc. material asset here*, they only have themselves -and likely their complacency- to blame.

5kgs of white seems to vary from 140 to 200bt at the majors.

I bought 5 kg of white jasmine (triple A quality) rice in Saudi yesterday and had to pay 24 Riyal which works out to about 205 baht. Not much difference with the Thai local price apparently.
