$50 USD for about 3-5 minutes of shooting and 25 rounds sounds quite steep.

Is it one of those places with a dual pricing system where locals do the same for 300 baht ($10 USD)?  Otherwise, I'd foresee the only customers being Falangs that want to say they've done it once, rich locals and folks on expense account.

take into account ammunition, clays , gun rental & range fees its about the going rate
all these things cost more money here in Thailand to buy than in america
Pattaya shooting club were offering 10 rounds for 25oo baht
so its quiet reasonable

kdudley,  You're probably right.  Coming from Texas, I'm spoiled by an extremely wide selection of shooting opportunities, most of them pretty much for the cost of ammo, clay pigeons and empty beer cans.

I guess BKK is not a lot different from my visit to the Norinco shooting range just south of Beijing about 10 years ago.

They offered everything from .22's to their 17mm machine gun.  But they charged $0.35 per shot for .22, on up to several dollars per shot for the 17mm so I went there once to say I did, then never went back.  I think they closed the place shortly after.

I just know that when we pulled out the clay pigeons, we could go through 10 boxes of shells for each of us in a real short time.  At $40-50 per box, I just couldn't enjoy myself.
