Who is that guy who cycles around the streets covered in glitter, whats his story ? nutter or what.

He's English and was friendly when I chatted with him as I drove by on my motorbike. All the bar girls cheered him as he drove past. Live in Pattaya long enough and nothing seems abnormal.

He is pretty cool looking in all his gold. Gold jacket, gold hat, gold pants. All glitter gold - quite fun actually

But he looks pretty young to me. Wonder what he is doing here?

This isn't "bicycle glitter man" but it makes one scratch their heads who actually pack this stuff when heading to a country with a tropical climate! Nonetheless, I appreciate the harmless attention they get.

Yeah...I've often seen this guy riding around in the evenings and wondered what his story is. As he is pretty young...i would put my money on English teacher.

yeah i've seen this guy a couple of times, been around for a long time now, if anyone has some photos throw them up

Seen yesterday on his bike, but no longer sporting golden costume or special bike. He just had a large feather on the bike and has grown a funny novelty beard.

Yes, I also think there was a previous thread on Thai Visa about this Guy.  

I have seen him many times, and he always waves to me when we overtake him.

I wonder what his first name is, do you think it could be Gary ????          (only kidding)

When me and the mrs went to patters for a night out,we see this fella on the bike coming down soi 7,the very first thought that come into my head

was the MONSTER RAVING LOONEY PARTY dont no why,but yes it did bring a smile.

IF your reading fella carry on mate,maybe you can bring a bit more cheer to the place.

Good photo, as you can see just a single feather on his bike.

I wonder if the Pattaya Police have banned him from riding around in his full golden splendour?

My guess would be that someone nicked his old ( golden ) bike.

UPDATE (Seen October 1st 2009)

The Glitter man has a new highly decorated pushbike and a magnificent costume and is cycling the streets of Pattaya again.

It looks as if he has had a major apparatus/costume face lift.
