Hello Everyone,
I am about to make a run to Laos. I want to make sure I have the concept of a double entry visa right.
What is a double entry visa?
1. What is it and how does it work?
2. Where can you get one? I am in the north so going to the Thia Embassy in Valentine Laos would be a days or so away
3. What is needed? ie. Forms, photos, and cost
4. What if you don't use all 6 months? What is the cost? ie money, can you get another one
5. Can you get a double entry visa over and over? Should this be saved and used when you know for sure that you are going to be in Thailand for 6 months.
What do other people do and what problems have they experienced. I really just want the problem of getting a visa to go away. I don't want to travel and then get settled and they have to do a visa run. I want to have longer periods in between Visa runs. I might not use the whole thing but since I am going to Laos I can get it and use it to what level necessary as pose to a single visa and then having to do a visa run.
Where can you get a single entry tourist visa? Can you get them in Malaysia?
Thanks for your help.

It is 2 entries each one for 60days. Each entry can be extended for a further 30 days at Immigration in Thailand. When your 1st entry and extension are almost finished you do a border run to use the second entry. [quote]2. Where can you get one? They've stopped issuing double-entry VISA to fellow ASEAN brethrens. Farangs still get their double-entry though.
