HomePro had some about a month ago...THB 6,800 but works very well.  We bought one for my wife's family living in northern Nan province.

Some things are strange here.  In the USA you can walk into any Hardware Superstore and buy a functional fan forced 1600 watt electric space heater (made in China) for 10-15 dollars.  Same with hair dryers.

Nothing like that 6500 baht. Unusual item here. I'm suprised homes are not built with fireplaces this happens every year.

Doesn't last long but cold is cold after you have been here awhile. By the way I live in Udon thought my only hope was to go to Bagkok. Turned out they had one here. So in the end I saved the plane fare. :o

Great lead and tremendous help.

Thats an excellent buy but this one is perfect for me about the size of a toaster but heats the room in about ten M mins. So it's one I can take on my travels with the bike and get a nice toasty room for the shower in the morning. I thought we were going to freeze in Chaing Dao on our last ride. Expensive but fits my needs.
