Aren't all threads around here eventually locked?
#28Posted 2009-02-03 17:06:07
I always read the closed topics looking for something of interest.
However some of them are boring now as rather than simply move a thread posted in the wrong forum they simply get closed John..... #29Posted 2009-02-03 17:25:08
Add me to the list. I probably look at 80-90% of all closed threads, yet I look at probalby 10% of the open threads.

So, it would seem the general consenus is that closed threads attract more readers. More readers attract more sponsers. More sponsers mean...
... we can expect the number of closed topics to increase. #32Posted 2009-02-03 21:20:15

(I hope they get the joke !?! #33Posted 2009-02-03 21:27:25 Quote (I hope they get the joke !?! ) dont hold your breath. #34Posted 2009-02-03 21:34:58

The best one's are the one's that get not just closed but deleted. You have to get to them before a MOD does of course though. Edited by JSixpack, 2009-02-04 08:59:12. #40Posted 2009-02-04 08:59:59
...Thavisa has become quite pathetic of late and seems to be growing worse. Uhmm....that was informative. #41Posted 2009-02-04 10:42:24
Starting this thread, in no way it was my intention to initialize a discussion about the moderating.
But the way it developed, it might be somewhat useful in the way of helping the moderators to stay in touch with the feelings among the general public. |
