I am considering moving from America to Hua Hin with my Thai wife to open a business. Before starting the business, I would like to work a year or two while getting settled. Can you please tell me what type of job opportunities (other than teaching) exist in Hua Hin for foreigners with limited knowledge of Thai language? I have degrees and experience in marketing.

Do the international hotels in Hua Hin hire foreigners?

What do expats living in Hua Hin do for a living?

Property is big here, a lot of expats have got into that over the past 2 years. The Hotels do hire but you need to be highly qualified in the field they are seeking. Other than that its pretty much running your own bar/guesthouse or ..... teaching. The message board here: http://huahinafterdark.com/forum/ may have something on it.
