How can polls be added to a newly posted topic?
The option is there, and information can be entered,
but after the thread is submitted, the poll disappears?
If it is a seniority issue, the option to enter poll should not be there in the first place.
Please fix this either way.

I am afraid I do not understand your question. Anyone can start a poll, perhaps you are doing it wrong.
To start a poll, start a new topic. I don't think you can add a poll to a topic you have already posted. A moderator can, but once you reach a certain time limit your post is no longer editable. #3Posted 2009-03-01 21:54:34
When starting a new thread, 'add poll' was selected and entered. The thread was entered as normal, but the poll did not show up.
I also contacted 2 moderators already about it, to either fix it or add it themselves, but the moderators do not respond to all messages?? The function should be fixed so that it shows up on the thread as entered. #4Posted 2009-03-01 22:05:06
I just looked through all your topics and none show as an attempt to start a poll. You also need to add something in the Reply box when you create a new topic with a poll. As far as I can tell there is nothing to preclude you from creating a poll.

In the 'mobile megaphone vending' topic a poll WAS entered, but it did not show up when the thread was posted.
Even after another 'edit' and re-enter the poll, again it did not show up. Two moderators were also contacted to either fix the entry or input it themselves, but no response from the moderators. #7 Unregistered: Bellini_*Posted 2009-03-02 21:22:01
I tried my hand at creating a poll just now and the result is here:

@Bellini: Thanks. I got it now. I did follow the steps before, but the poll did not post. Maybe because I didn't click 'close poll form' before submitting? Or maybe because of the Firefox browser?
Not sure, but it works now. Thanks for your help! #9 Unregistered: Bellini_*Posted 2009-03-03 23:38:16
'close poll form' is what you must have tripped over. I did my exercise in Chrome but am sure Firefox would have worked just as well. I remember that I did a preview before closing the form and the poll did not show, then after I closed the poll it was there in the preview.
