umm...so the stock "top speed" is 98 mph?

well i guess for the American version. Not as cool as the Thai version ya?

How is that not as cool as the Thai model? The highest I've seen in the forum is mid 160s (GPS logged). That's only 4 MPH (~4%) quicker than the US model. The kicker is that according to the article, the US model is 25.6 HP (corrected to reflect BHP?--unknown) and the Thai model supposedly has 33 BHP. If they were able to get 36 HP out of the radically modded US version and only hit 111.3 MPH, why isn't the Thai model doing at least 105 MPH (170 km/h)? If we go by the HP numbers, the Thai version is ~29% stronger.....

I think my GPS said 164 when pratting about with Tony.. Tho its hard to be precise the top end was about the same between us due to fairing on the Ninja.
