How did anyone force them to attack the car? Koo, you are talking nonsense.
#77Posted 2009-05-21 15:05:01
I does. If Abhisit was not in the car, the reds fell into the trap forcing them cause violence. The reds said Abhisit was the first to fly up in a helicopter in Pattaya. He, being rich and young, never has tough life, never in a fight, never faces enemy eye to eye teeth to teeth, was so frightened. So, why did soldiers let the reds go inside the Ministry of Interior Affairs to attack his car? At the same time, Abhisit was not in Government House but many soldiers stood inside to protect GH. Can you explain, what/how they were "forced" to be violent???? #78Posted 2009-05-21 15:08:13

Another UDD supporter arrested He said Arun confessed he was the person stated in the arrest warrant and was the security guard for the UDD protesters during Songkran chaos. The arrested Arun admitted he guarded his UDD fellow Suporn Attawong, known as Issan Rambo, but claimed that he did not attack the vehicle of the prime minister.
"Issan Rambo" Suporn Atthawong is a former TRT MP [TRT Banned # 48]: ![]() Prosecution Puts Off Decision on Red-Shirt Leader Indictment Public prosecutors have postponed their decision on indictment against a red-shirt core leader to May 27th as he is still tied up with a seminar by the opposition Pheu Thai Party. The lawyer representing the core leader of the Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship or DAAD, Suporn Atthawong, submitted an appeal with special public prosecutors at Dusit District Court, claiming that his client is still tied up with the Pheu Thai Party’s seminar on economic problems at the Monthien Riverside Hotel. The prosecutors decided to postpone their decision whether to indict Suporn for allegedly violating the emergency decree to May 27th. Meanwhile, the Samranrat police station has prepared to summon Suporn on June 24th for questioning about his involvement in the chaos at the Interior Ministry after the state of emergency was put in place. Last month, Suporn faced an arrest warrant for vandalism of state property and instigating chaos. He was also accused of orchestrating the mob attack on the Prime Minister’s car during the turmoil at the Interior Ministry last month. ![]() -- Tan Network 2009-05-21 #82Posted 2009-05-21 19:17:30
Suporn has an interesting background....
![]() Former TRT Party's 'Rambo' shot and wounded in ambush Nakhon Ratchasima - A former Thai Rak Thai MP was slightly injured when shot on Sunday night and he says he believes the motive was political. Suporn Attawong, also known as 'Rambo,' was attacked while driving home in Khon Buri district about 11.25 pm, after dinner with a senior local police officer. He said a group of armed men in a pick-up truck without a registration plate number opened fire at his car. He briefly returned fire, got out of the car, and hid in a cassava field for about half an hour. Suporn, a three-time MP for Nakhon Ratchasima's constituency 12, believed the attack was political. He said a rival he refused to name wanted to be elected in the general election. Suporn is one of the 111 former executive members of TRT banned from politics for five years by the Constitution Tribunal on May 30. Bangkok Post / July 3, 2007 Continued here: http://www.bangkokpo...2007_news07.php Issan Rambo verdict hearing rescheduled to 27 May BANGKOK, 21 May 2009 (NNT) – Dusit District Court has rescheduled the verdict hearing of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship leader, Suporn Atthawong, to 27 May 2009. Charges were for violating the Emergency Decree during the Songkran political turmoil. Karom Poltaklang, a lawyer to UDD Leader Suporn Atthawong traveled to Dusit District Court to file a petition to request deferment of the court’s ruling. Karom reasoned that Suporn, as former Puea Thai Party MP for Nakhon Ratchasima, had to attend the Party’s seminar at Montien Riverside Hotel and therefore could not come to report himself with the prosecutor today. Earlier, Suporn, better known as ‘Issan Rambo’, was charged for violating the Emergency Decree by assembling more than five people when the decree was in effect during the recent political turmoil in Songkran period this year. Karom told media that the Attorney-General had considered the evidence supplied, including Puea Thai Party’s seminar documents handed in by Karom. The court verdict was rescheduled to 27 May 2009 at 9.00 hrs, which would be the last round for Suporn’s detention. Suporn had to travel to hear the ruling before further legal proceedings could occur in court. ![]() -- NNT 2009-05-21 Edited by sriracha john, 2009-05-21 19:17:52. #83Posted 2009-05-22 22:19:44
Is this one of the Army soldiers that Red Shirt Leader Jatuporn said was responsible for attacking the PM's car? I thought the yellows did it to discredit the peaceful red shirts? To make it even worse Sondhi shot himself in the head...... Is DTV available again?? I can't await to see the pictures of the 200 dead red shirts which were killed by the army. you can read this PAD's "51AM Thailand" blog (I emphasize PAD, since many here do not trust sources related to red-shirts) : Thai Government fails to find facts on 13 April mayhem http://www.51am.com/2009/05/thai-governmen...d-facts-on.html this post dated May 3rd, almost 20 days ago or 3 weeks (and 1.5 month since Apr 13th) - and the result is still the same. well, yeah - it is a bit different message now : "The site is still under development, please visit again in the near future." instead of "Page not found" 2-3 days ago Nation has printed report about 4 Red-shirts being convicted for "blocking traffic at Din Daeng". so far nobody charged for killing 2 civilians or for almost blowing up gas truck in resident area. gov. and local media were crying fould about "violence", "enemies of country" (Abhisit's words for Reds), terrorism, etc. and the most we can see being done is - few chaps charged for "blocking traffic" ! surely if indeed there has been attack on Abhisit in his car (aka attempted assassination of the country's PM !) - there could and in fact MUST have been some bigger efforts to punish the culprits, hey ? not just some guys charged for traffic violation and 1 (or 2?) guys arrested for involvement in the incident in Inerior Ministry. Nation has also quoted police and army top guys saying they are "very busy" to attend the facts-finding parlaimentary commission / panel. they said to contact the gov. officials instead. but taking into consideration the factreport website - there is no much luck getting facts there either. the case about soldier found mysteriously dead (aka "slipped on the floor in the toilet" ) in the house where Abhisit and Suthep were staying 2 nights after Pattaya - that case apparently has also been dropped by media already quite for a while, there are no any updates. well, so much for "Facts checking", huh ? rather looks like neither gov., nor amry / police and especially not Thai media are botherring much to find actual facts. perhaps it suits the concerned parties better - that no any real facts are being found or, shal we say, made public. so, any thoughts, h90 ? since you have PAD logo as your avatar and so eager to expose red-shirts as liars. #84Posted 2009-05-22 23:12:46
The facts exist, likely known, but the smears would be as loud or louder.
So, maybe there is a sense of 'why bother reporting this stuff, lets just get on with it.' Truth spoken early would be drowned by bile, if nothing is said, the opposition is MORE likely to make up utter BS and make multiple false claims that LATER can be refuted. Not saying THAT is right, but then I am not Thai, different slippery world here. So what might my opinion based on observation be worth to them? Good for mixing with Somtam I suspect. #85Posted 2009-05-22 23:31:43
"... forcing them to cause violence..."? because they were tricked by a decoy? they attacked the wrong car! but it's still THEM who attacked! ...usual blind red drivel... So he declared State of Emergency and his people released the news that he was in Interior Ministry. I believe this was an arrangement. He was rushing to a helicopter in Pattaya so why did his people let the reds go into IM easily? Danger to Abhisit. Some reds came to ask him to release Arisamun. Some came to ask him not to declare SoE. The car was driven into the reds so they started to hit After 10 minutes, the reds found out that both Abhisit and Suthep were not in IM, , they went back to main stage at Government House. But they heard that the reds were injured (dead was what the reds said) at IM, so they went back to look for the bodies. By now, the reds said, the Democrat Party Secretary's car ran very fast into them. The reds started to hit him. This happened almost 3 hours after the first event. So violence happened after Abhisit declared SoE. Tanks were on the street. And early 13th there were gun shots by soldiers at Din Daeng. The other reason is to discredit the reds by painting that they are violent. Edited by Koo82, 2009-05-22 23:32:36. #86Posted 2009-05-22 23:43:09

Real reds are charged quickly. In the past, they threw eggs and slippers at Suthep's car on Saturday, Sunday reported to police, Monday charged at Court. Reason: wanting to hurt other's body. After Songkran in Blood, more arrest orders are issued to catch singers who sang on the red stage. On 28th April, Jatupon said about 9 soldiers were acting like the reds at IM and will in arrest list. You won't believe him of course. http://cbnpress.com/index.php/component/hw...p;video_id=1819 #87Posted 2009-05-23 00:04:00
