Just saw it for the first time (with ex-actor Robson Green).  He went to Bang Prakong river and hooked a monster stingray.  Took 3 guys taking it in turns (strapped in) to tire the fish into rising...after it had, they wrapped a towel around its tail and got in the water with it.  It was the circumference of a living room!  Tried to find it on youtube but no luck yet - it was purely amazing.  Seems like they let it go which is great, maybe because the TV cameras were there!
