Hi. Can anyone tell me if this par lai lake or palai lake as I think it should be called
is still running in Phuket? I went to look today on soi palai near the phuket zoo and the sea food restaurant not
far from chalong.
The locals know nothing of any fishing lake. Was it filled in/closed down????

I cant find any trace of it. Where is it??????????????

Thanks

Check Gillham's Fishing Resort out - a bit of a drive but world class.

I can catch fish like that in Phuket. For the price of Gillhams it's more worthwhile going to Bangkok...

... so I did.

Gillhams is a rip off in my opinion. Go to Bangkok for real fishing.

Fishing in Phuket is pathetic by Thai standards :)

Come on Phuket pull your finger out!!!

The mekong cat I caught is pretty small compared to what's in the best Bangkok lakes

I havn't found anywhere in BKK with the quality or variety of Gillham's. Also I like the Krabi area. Getting bored with Berngsamran.

Try ngau nam.. though i must say its a lot more challenging. Or try sakuna also fun.
