Thai Student Uniforms 'too Sexy'
#451Posted 2009-09-02 20:42:40
I will admit that I just read this thread's title and then read only the very last post all about rape (now top of page 16).
I wish that Uni girls wouldn't wear the tiny, revealing, skin-tight uniforms simply because it's so distracting. It also masks their true age which is often much older than they would have you believe. I wish Uni students were ordered to dress more moderately, but I accept that the problem lies with me and my perception of girls who wear high-heels, tiny skirts and show off their waxed legs in public - it just messes with my mind, i think they are young but the vast majority are married or already mothers. #452Posted 2009-09-03 15:37:49
Imagine, one of these girls is your daughter and I am imagine one of these guys who replied above is my father. I am impressed on how my father can be a truly pervert and he's my mother's husband. I'm just thinking... What's your beef? These are young women...not girls. And they have chosen of their own free will to put on as sexy as display in public as possible. So YES. I will look and no doubt the ladies will appreciate this. Result for them. #453Posted 2009-09-03 15:45:27
i think at university level, this is hard to prevent as we are in the Information Age and a lot of youth like to copy the fashion they see on TVs and on the internet so I believe if the government were to force them to wear uniforms, their skirts would just be as short.

Some women control their men with thie minds.
Others control their men with their personalties. Some few women can make men just stupid with their looks and how they use them. I suppose that is something we might hope, but not expect, them to NOT use as power. But they do, and men fall for it everytime... #456Posted 2009-09-03 16:15:32

Well I don't mind, what ever they do - as long as they don't talk too much, get upset about nothing or like to watch soaps all day.. and there has to be plenty a well chilled beer around... nothin' will be able to bother me much! #457Posted 2009-09-03 19:19:07

A note, most don't wax their legs here. Many don't need to. But regarding the age, as mentioned before, I know of friends and even friends of my wife that is single and in our age and still claim to be 10 years younger when they go out to RCA and meet boys... age can be hard to guess here for some. (So can gender, but that is another topic.) #458Posted 2009-09-26 14:51:29
I am shocked and this news really knocked my socks off. I could not believe my eyes seeing the picture of Thai university students. They make me wonder?? Are they going to learn or looking for...... ??? These mini and Micro skirts are suitable for party girls as such not for famous university students. Shame?? People do complain in case of Rapes go up and Thai Society will blame women for asking....not men who committ the crime??? Believe me Women seldom win any Rapes case because, the Thai jurors won't buy them. Well, how can these college kids wear mini or micro skirts while attending their temples?? Do the Monks allow them to worship I wonder????? By the way, this is not positive self expression in Thailand and for all the Farangs Thai is still Thai. You all live in Thailand and you all have live by the Thai rules otherwise, you all will be unhappy and fly away for freedom in America or Europe. There is no freedom of self Exppression because, Thai women do not have more freedom like Americans or Europeans. My personal opinion and I take a stand. Okay, I promise never to wear a skimpy school uniform. You are referring to Thai young women who apparently live in a democracy Who has the right to tell anyone how to dress? Thank you for your reply and kind word?? you are right about who has the right to tell anyone how to dress? But, not in Thailand. I live in America the land of freedom, modern society and democracy. We are facing problem of Rape every day. Recently, 5000 cases of rape in LA did not process even the victums had DNA tests as such 3-4 hours without going to pee in the restroom. Now the New police chief has to reopen the cases..I do not how many happen in other cities in US... Scarely... ( the Real truth that no one wants to talk about ) Every 3 second women get Rape in this civilize society and very few cases get through court. I do not understand why it is not a priority??? What more do we have to fight?? No excuse in my view?? By the way, the police in LA caught one man who raped 15 women after they decided to process the Rape test... 97% of men are in jail in comparing to 3% of women at this moment. In my personal oppinion a woman has a freedom of expression and she can nake in public if she wants to and no one can touch her unless she consents to ... However, this is not for Thai women. Unfortunately, we live by our cuture, custom, society and the Law ( Thai women are no exception ) I am lucky not to have search my body when I go through the custom in Japan or some Europe countries while I travel ...Now you know the rest of my answer. What is class or no class? People will judge from the way women dress and undress in Public..In my view " Sex always sells, " Woman has less power in society no matter what?? How many women be rulers? Even America does not have a woman President. I am not telling anyone how to dress but, I give my personal opinion how to suvive in a new World Order plus how a woman claims her power through knowledge...and be able to earn her own living?? Stand tall without a man incase of divorce. American woman earns 70 cents while the male counter part has 1 dollar Both has the same degree and experience...Wake up all women and smell the real coffee?? This is my take and I am standing tall about my opinion. OPP I forget to mention about assult and domestic cases I just vote to have an emergency housing for the victum in my town which it costs my City hall 1.5 million US dollars. This is for Southeast Asia only. ( just one small house to host 5 families ) Not for other women...think about it... #459Posted 2009-09-26 17:51:46
So do mature students (do they exist in Thailand) and foreign students need to wear these uniforms?
#460Posted 2009-09-26 18:09:08
Yes, they do. There are more than a few gals at ABAC, both at the main and Bangna 2 campus, although most are the pasty Mormon type, both outwardly and underneath. I wish they'd import some up from Samui to get the true sorority gal in Thai college uniform look, but most appear to be here only to "explore other planes of existence," and probably wouldn't be too interested in studying anything.
*mental note to suggest it to friends in the net porn business back home #461Posted 2009-09-26 19:11:05

If you need an age label to be able to judge if what you see is beauty or not, up to you. But please do not impose that on me. I will enjoy any way of similar beauty that will pass my way #464Posted 2009-10-27 13:52:45

I will enjoy any way of similar beauty that will pass my way All of this, for some reason, reminds me of something that happened at my High School many moons ago, back in the early 70s when boys and girls often had long hair. At a school meeting, the school principal gave a long speech about how LONG HAIR was a total distraction........and impairment standing in the way of learning.......totally unacceptable. A smart guy in our class stood up and said something like, "you are right........so, according to you, both males and females must now cut their hair short." The principal did not know what to say.................oh.........ah.........I mean..........I really meant.........oh.........ah.........ah.............. It is just a cultural thing..........and the girls in Thailand, like most girls all over, want to attract boys. So what? That is normal behavior.........especially at that age. It is just a sexual game............unfortunately, they can only play the game so long.........after graduation they enter the "real world" where they may have to dress more conservatively to gain employment. Let them have their fun..........it isn't hurting anyone. #465Posted 2009-10-27 14:25:38
Don't blame rape on sexy clothing. That is just ignorance and a shameful display of blaming the victims.
#466Posted 2009-10-27 17:04:25
There are a number of guys, who when seeing a beautiful girl, are reminded of their own limitations in attracting such a girl and become irritated enough to blame such girls for the predicament they put guys (like them) in. Whitewashing of rape comes next. After that it depends how violent a person they become.
#467Posted 2009-10-27 18:23:43
Nonsense, you seem to lack the basic understanding what rape is about.
And males aren't apes that get horny beyond control if we spot a piece of flesh. It IS a choice and it IS fully on the perpetrator if anything happens. Even if the women in question was shopping standing naked by the fruit disk at Foodland. #468Posted 2009-10-27 19:14:03 Quote Even if the women in question was shopping standing naked by the fruit disk at Foodland. Would most likely increase fresh fruit sales at Foodland though #469Posted 2009-10-27 19:16:55
I was thinking that Monty!
You could imagine the manager of a Villa supermarket with his "Buy 2 get 1 free" promotion. "Foodland is doing WHAT? No wonder we haven't got any f#cking customers!" #470Posted 2009-10-27 19:18:12

Happy to see that this thread is still going strong. I passed by at NEP for the first time in a long time and noticed that the long shafted black boots have evolved to well over the knees of the dancing personnel.
Now, if the short skirted students would start wearing boots like that we would have so much exposed skin... #473Posted 2009-10-28 22:41:08
Don't blame rape on sexy clothing. That is just ignorance and a shameful display of blaming the victims. Agree wholeheartedly, but technically speaking, it is easier for a rapist to rape someone wearing a short skirt as opposed to say pants or jeans. #474Posted 2009-10-29 01:15:21
Not these lovely ladies who study hard are showing inappropriate behaviour. The directors and other fossils do by interfering in the personal lives of these hard working people. We are just a stone throw away from the moment that they will tell us that it is a girls fault when she get raped because they have inappropriate clothes. Instead of making a fuss about the example that movie stars set they should make an example out of the culture of dishonesty that is king in the circles of the Thai elite. And in the meantime ladies, a bit shorter skirts please, we love it! Wrecker does make a good point. That is a classic rapist lawyers argument and holds no water. A naked woman should not be raped, and if I man can't stop himself it is HIS PROBLEM not hers. Rape is about power and abuse and not solely about SEX, rapists typically are controlling and don't care about the victim. Even musilim women in chadors get raped, it's not the clothes, it's the the out of control lowlife ripping them off that is the problem. Example: how many of us here on TVF have been quite drunk, in the company of very sexy, less covered ladies (or men), and NOT raped them...? The answer is most all of us. A small percentage of men, lack that reasonable self control, and that's what the laws are for. And how many of us old gits here are going to get the opportunity to be a room with a young beautiful naked lady? In most cases it would be that the guy is paying for it and sex is on the agenda anyway. So the rape scenario will never happen. Any self respecting lady would never strip down in front of a man she hardly knows or not desires to have a sexual relationship with. If she did, the guy would be receiving all the wrong signals and if the man did get carried away with the moment, the girl would be 99.99% to blame. I am not suggesting that some women are asking for it, but they should use common sense if they consider their safety. #475Posted 2009-10-29 16:56:30
Again, the clothes doesn't trigger it. If we are talking about rape between strangers (most are actually carried out between family members, friends and distant friends), where the victim is attacked in a park etc, the clothing has no real bearing on if the attack will happen or not, the opportunity is more important (and in some cases if the victim trigger some reaction from haircolor, style etc that he might be purposely targeting, but those cases are rare and more common with serial killers than serial rapists). Don't forget, I come from a cold country with a lot of snow where people wear thick pants, sometimes two layers of pants, and yet attack-rapes happen. The rapist doesn't hide in the bushes, minding his own business, when suddenly a lightly dressed woman triggers his instinct - his mind is already set when he walks out from his apartment. |
