Jim, the way it works around here is, that there are always people who know of land for sale. The seller makes contact with them and they go find a buyer. Usual fee is about 3 to 5 % of the sale.

I have noticed 3-10% and lots of bad experiences out there.

Do you mean local villagers, listing agents or other? I have been searching for links or ideas from other threads etc. but I don't know how to reach you guys other than right here.
If I ask my wife she will say "easy" or "cannot", do you suppose there could be a way for me to meet with other Farang or buyers in my own straight up way to offer our land?
I know i'm a newby and probably not tapping the resources very well but I would be grateful for any advise on say, what would you do to let people know you are here?

Are you around Buri ram?

Thanks for your reply, I'm very glad to hear from you.

Much further South. Look under my user name.
The people are not professional agents, just locals. Trouble is when they know you want to buy, and you tell them exactly what you want. They still come to you with all sorts of rubbish. No access no water etc..

Hi Jim / Global Wanderer,

What's wrong with just posting the details of your land right here in public view.
and agree to receive PM's in private

There are many Farmers who use this Forum,
and a large number of Guest viewers

At this moment as I write there are
8 Members and
28 Guests on ThaiVisa Farm Forum.

Your topic is #19 on Page One,
about to bump to #1 when I post this Reply.
I'd think chances are better than average that you'll sell it immediately.

As with selling anything,
Provide more detail then you think anyone could ever find useful,
and you'll then be covered up with a million questions.
The first guy to appear with money in hand wins.

I'm not necessarily a candidate to purchase,
but if I was selling out tomorrow, I'd post here first.

I am glad to hear that Waters edge,

Being new to TV I did not know if I could do that, though maybe classified is for selling, forum is for discussing.

Well I am very pleased with all of the feedback in several forums, just not much from the classified. Funny!

I have actually learned quite a lot about transactions and my own property type, even value.... kind of. Mostly, I have learned that there are other members here that can be a wealth of support.

What I think for now is I will return to Thailand, prepare documents, take photos, account production and re-evaluate the commercial/ Ind prospects of the land.

Please PM me or just reply with any other ?? or advise.

Jim
