Well I started this one last year only first us to be knocked out straight away by bloody Histon, so I hope that I am not putting a jinx on it again.
Anyway we are at home to Woking. Not a great tie but we should at least get through to the next round. How's it looking for you?........ #2Posted 2009-10-25 23:35:58
Oxford Utd v Yeovil
Tough #3Posted 2009-10-26 03:33:36
But it should be a good match. I guess we'll find out just how good we are.
7th November. #4Posted 2009-10-26 21:00:20
MK Dons v Macclesfield
Miracles can happen but.... #5Posted 2009-10-26 21:06:27
Paulton Rovers v Norwich, that should be interesting. I can't see it being played at Paulton though, it's far too tiny.
Torquay United v Cheltenham - pretty uninteresting draw, but at lest it gives us a chance for progression into the next round. #6Posted 2009-10-27 00:13:10
Away to Luton.
Come on The Dale #7Posted 2009-10-27 12:30:20
Tranmere Rovers v Leyton Orient, doesn't fill me with confidence.
#8Posted 2009-11-04 17:00:16
anyone know if FA Cupmis on Thai TV this season, looking for Millwall V Dons, monday night footie????
#9Posted 2009-11-04 21:36:08
Being advertised on Star Sports again with the ( Not in Thailand ) underneath...
I love the early rounds too but look on the bright side, at least we'll get Man Ure V Chelsea & Arsenal V Liverpool in the Semi's.. Toady, where is Paulton, i've never heard of it ?? #10Posted 2009-11-04 22:01:09
I'm going over to watch Bromley versus Colchester. May be their biggest gate with 1,200 travelling away fans ?
The ticket was a bit expensive @ £5. Still wtf, it's the Cup. #11Posted 2009-11-08 01:48:54
And Oxford march on. We'll take Swindon in the next round please.
#12Posted 2009-11-08 02:33:39
Paulton Rovers v Norwich, that should be interesting. I can't see it being played at Paulton though, it's far too tiny. Torquay United v Cheltenham - pretty uninteresting draw, but at lest it gives us a chance for progression into the next round. It was live on the internet........and it was played at Paulton, although I would have thought they'd have made a lot more money by taking the game to Norwich. Quote Toady, where is Paulton, i've never heard of it ?? It's just south of Bristol. #14Posted 2009-11-08 13:19:55
And we'd be quite happy with a Swindon Oxford draw as well.
We beat the mighty Woking 1-0, phew. #15Posted 2009-11-08 16:44:47
MK Dons 1 Macclesfield Town 0
So no Cup run for the Silkmen this year but it was always going to be difficult away to a high flying team one division above them. Apparently Macc gave a good account of themselves so no complaints. Leaves us free to concentrate on promotion ! #16Posted 2009-11-08 17:37:59
Seven changes, including Kasper Schmeichel, Graeme Lee and Lee Hughes all missing, but Notts 2-1 over Bradford.
#17Posted 2009-11-08 23:13:07
Oxford will take on Barrow at home - a game we should win, thereby putting us in the draw to possibly meet one of the big boys.
Swindon must visit Wrexham. Not an easy place to go, but there again we got a 1-0 result there a few weeks ago, so I'm sure Swindon will get through, especially given their recent FA cup form. #18Posted 2009-11-09 07:29:49
ColU versus Hereford United at their place.
#19Posted 2009-11-09 08:44:43
Notts County go to Bournemouth.
Should be a good one. #20Posted 2009-11-10 11:46:49
Thoroughly enjoyed the Highlights on TS1 last night, Barrow V Eastleigh, Rochdale coming back from 3 down at Luton, luv it...
#21Posted 2009-11-10 18:51:29
Did TRUE show the 1st round live?
#22Posted 2009-11-10 23:07:17
Did TRUE show the 1st round live? I didn't see any Game Live ( only cos i wasn't at Home when any Games were on, otherwise i woulod have had a look ) but i know a Bar here on Samui & close to my House was advertising Oldham V Leeds on Saturday night, on what i don't know.. Saying that though i have some Millwall Pals who were adament that their Game was gonna be on Live last night but it appears in the Millwall thread that it wasn't.. Strabge that they showed the Highlights though as they didn't last Year.. #23Posted 2009-11-28 03:20:56
Oxford v Barrow
Quote The knowledge that a victory could see them facing the likes of Wayne Rooney, Did-ier Drogba or Fernando Torres in five weeks time is incentive enough #24Posted 2009-11-29 00:02:14
Wrexham 0 - 1 Swindon.
A lucky, lucky win against non-league Wrexham who where the only team that deserved to go through on the night. I shan't complain too much though. Oooh, and Oxford are still in the pot for the next round. Yes please. #25Posted 2009-11-29 01:09:13
A goal deep into extra time by John-Joe O'Toole enabled U's to escape two potential banana skins on the trot. Next up ? |
