My girlfriend's problem area is her legs, which she finally wants to slim down. Exercise doesn't seem to do the trick.

She is considering Slim Up Center or Marie France Bodyline. Does anyone know more about these places? Do people really get positive results there? It seems its all based around lying down and letting machines do the work. Seems almost too good to be true.

She is also considering liposuction, but if there is a non-invasive method, that of course would be most desirable.

Thanks!

If your missus wants to lose weight all she has to do is cut out meat and go veggie for a while. I have lost 10 kilos in 6 weeks by cutting out meat, and haven't even really done any exercise, the problem is these people are lazy so would rather go to one of these places where the responsibility is taken away from them. I seem to have lost my weight off my stomach and arse mostly maybe not the legs as much, maybe she can try going veggie first and if that doesn't work have some lypo.

Thanks. When she diets, she doesn't lose any weight from her legs. But definitely she could tone up by exercising more.

Still interested in the results people get at Slim Up Center....

Mrs Soutpeel went to this crowd for a while, yes she lost a bit, but its not sustainable unless you keep going indefintely, its also very expensive and they will be selling her all kinds of creams etc

In the end Mrs Soutpeel started exercising and got far better sustained results for a lot less money, she actually admitted in the end that Marie France was a waste of time and effort....of course I didnt say to her..."I told you so"... :)

I am with other posters here...diet and exercise dont waste your money on Marie France, excercise a few times a week will ultimately give better results, but she has to work at it, it's not a quick fix..

Agree with above. I know someone who went to 'Slim Up' center and they did lose a bit of weight, however, the cost was around 120,000 Baht (can't remember the exact duration of the course but it was around a couple of months) and as soon as you stop these programs and go back to your old ways then the weight piles back on.

Healthy diet and regular exercise is the only way to go.

You sound like you try to sound Kitty-cat cute. It's fairly easy to research these places and just going on your friends whim, sounds not right. Imagine CSI and the equipment they have to probe inside your body - probably not as bad as that, but do find out your reasons to go before going.

Ther going to lock you in a little room and pipe music into it until you scream and go crazy and when you come out you will be 10 kilos liter. Any way that what they told me and I went to the bar instead.

If you want to get into shape find a good gym that you are comfortable with, do your reserch do they have knowledge staff trainers who can show you the proper exercises, not to expensive and stick with it. Over time you will loose weight and inches. It takes time to reverse years of neglect. Also just cut back a bit on what you eat, one spoon of rice, smaller serving of meat, half a mango instead of a whole.
