Does anybody know of any experimental music venues or events in Bangkok (inclusing electroacoustic electronica etc) ?

I would be interested in this, too. Very hard to find I believe.

Also, any "cutting edge" music shops / areas or even clubs with adventurous music (more experimental electronica,...) ?

I don't know about clubs, (but I'd be interested too, it would be nice to go somewhere that isn't playing "Poker Face"), but if you want a good store that has a lot of stuff that is hard to find, go to Tha PraChan.

If you know where Thammasat University is, then you will find PraChan street, as it runs beside the campus, just south of it. Near what is called the Tha PraChan gate, there is a market that goes all the way to the river. Go towards the river, and when you enter the covered part of the market, the music store will be immediately on your right. I go there for hard to find jazz cds, but they have tonnes of stuff.

Thanks for that Meridian. Good cds are tough to find these days.
