I have been told a new Immigration office has opened for Nakhon Prathom. After the one in Bkk transfered a lot of it's work to provincal offices, myself, and three other teachers from N.P. were sent to the Immi. office in Samut Sakon, to do our visa work, but now there is a new local office, we were told near to Wat Rai King, a very famous temple, however we are not sure exactly where it is, we have been told it's in the Phuttamaton area, has anybody been to this new office, and can anyone let us have the address, many thanks in advance for any help. I have seen the list with the Immi. offices, but can't find the address. If I've overlooked something please forgive me, thanks.

Thanks to TV Member MKMike for a very detailed set of directions, photos, map and Google Earth references on Thai Visa Forum at:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Immigration-...om-t306559.html

I, too will have to use this office soon, but haven't done so yet.
I think "finding it blindfolded" from this thread would be a good description!
I hope so.

Good luck. Perhaps you would post about your experience there? Time taken, politeness factor, efficiency, the run-around etc?

Thanks for the info guys, a couple of us will go there within the next 10 days, although some new teachers have been employed by our school, so if the timing is right, we might all go together. I will write about the experience when it's done. Thanks again.

Good news for anybody going to the new N.P. Immi. office, the directions from MKMIKE were easy to follow, our school drove 2 of us there, (no mud this time) in & out in less than 10 minutes, the staff are very friendly and everything went smoothly. I got the Thai teacher who came with us to ask why they put the new office so far away from where many of the government offices are in N.P. and they said the temple donated the land to them, so thats why it is where it is !!!
I was surprised at the answer, even the Thai teacher thought it was a bit unusual, when we were driving in the dirt road before the office, she said it looked like we were going into an old factory !
The good thing is, it's quick & easy...
