I am interested in fishing the Chiew Larn lake especially the upper reaches of the Khlong Saeng. A friend of mine who fished there stayed at a floating lodge which is also a ranger station. Apparently accomodations were very very basic which is fine with me ...so long as the fishing is ok.
Is there anyone who can help by reccommending someone who can organise such a trip for 4 persons?
Anyone fished the lake before?

I too am interested in doing some fishing here. Have heard it is good but maybe someone can give some more accurate info. Also is there anywhere to launch a boat, and I have seen websites with flating bungalows, are there several of these or just the one group.

Fished there before, stunning scenery, cannot bring your own boat, you board a longtail at one end of the lake and then travel to the top of this lake were the best fishing is, Monkeys, hornbills, etc. etc. accomodation VERY basic.
This is mostly Giant Snakehead fishing but there are schools of jungle perch. If i come across the number i will post it up. |
