My passport is with our HR department as they are extending my visa. I have a domestic flight to take this week. Is a Thai driver's license sufficient or will I be turned around?

Any photo ID should suffice.

The Thai DL is fine and all I ever have shown. Just be sure you carry on you a copy of your passport in case the BIB stop you for a check.

When I was getting a new passport in Bangkok the Australian Embassy took my old one and gave me photocopies with Embassy stamps and an explanation in Thai on them. Thai Airways wouldn't accept this but did accept my "ID Card" - a Melbourne Cricket Club member's card with my photo on it.

Beat that for unusual photo ID.
