There have been a few iphone worms spreading around and most have been harmless but there is a new one (so far only in Netherlands) that mimics bank websites... I suspect even worse ones are on the way!
These worms spread over wireless networks to iPhones which still have the default SSH password ("alpine")
To avoid any chance of getting any of these worms download MobileTerminal from Cydia and then open the terminal app and change your SSH password from the "alpine" default to one of your choosing
Below are more detailed instructions:

I just did it and feel safer now!

you can also just avoid it entirely by only downloading signed apps from trusted repo's on cydia, but everyone should change their password anyway.

Is this the same as Mobile Finder on iClarified? #5Posted 2009-12-11 19:55:29
Running MobileTerminal opens a shell program with a prompt where you can enter various shell commands including password change
Never heard of mobilefinder - sounds more like a wifi location or GPS app If you iPhone is legit and NOT jailbroken you have nothing to worry about |
