I have just moved to Kanchanburi, and I am looking at interesting places in the area to visit. I of course no of some of the main attractions or sights, but looking fo maybe some of the less well known ones. Anyway, I am open to any suggestions of places to go for say a day visit / half a day visit within the area.

There's a great Chinese temple under construction up in the hills near us in Nong Bua. Totally off the tourist track, and fascinating to see how they make these massive sculptures. PM me for details if interested
