On TOT BKK: Facebook.com has vanished again [mict] but I can access an internal link e.g. facebook.com/group.php?v.... From there I can, of course, go back to facebook.com

CAT in Phuket is fine for everything at present. I'm on CAT in Phuket from a couple of years and seldom i have problems, the speed is always good and the service reliable. Today i am having the problem with mict.go.th Facebook KO CNN KO Youtube KO Yahoo KO All of my servers (one in US and some in Italy) are working without any problem. I am really wondering about what are they trying to do and messing with. From the previous posts seems that this is not a ISP or geographical related problem and isn't even a DNS problem as i am running my own internal DNS server. It looks like an attempt to filter contents TIT #20Posted 2009-12-14 12:30:38
www.yahoo.com is blocked too by mict... Any idea what's going on?
#21Posted 2009-12-14 12:33:58
TT&T Maxnet Premier in Pattaya, no problems...
#22Posted 2009-12-14 12:34:16
we have a topic running in News Clippings addressing this issue.
Please follow the link: http://www.thaivisa....nc-t321851.html #23Posted 2009-12-14 12:42:44
Ok, someone post *proof* this is because of blocking rather than the 6 or 7 other more likely and possible reasons?
Whats more embarassing than a thai technical issue which redirects popular sites to government sites? A bunch of so called more knowledgeable westerners claiming its deliberate. Not saying it isnt Just am not seeing any reason to think it is. Edited by OxfordWill, 2009-12-14 12:44:09. #24Posted 2009-12-14 12:43:41
true Bangkok:
Everything OK #25Posted 2009-12-14 12:43:50
