Nice photos, Samuian. Thailand has so many lovely beaches that it's hard to pick any particular one. There is a cross section of relatively deserted beaches mixed with the popular ones in resort areas. There is something for everyone. edited to shorten.... Agreed, yes many, many more....for everyone something, deserted, busy, party... remote... anything! #56Posted 2010-05-12 05:04:33
Here are a few more where people DO make the photo interesting. They give perspective to the size of the waves and the excitement the waves create. Without the people in the photo the picture would be rather boring.
![]() The ONLY thing that made this photo what it was is the stunning colour and reflection in the wet sand.

I really like this set of photos. The top one is a classic sunset photo. The middle photo of the toddler having fun with his dump truck in a sea of sand tells a story. The bottom Photo gives a nice low perspective of a beach sprinkled with small stones. Keep the pictures coming, folks. And, nothing wrong with including pretty ladies. I don't know any male who DOESN'T like looking at lovely women in bathing suits. Scantily clad women on beautiful beaches go hand in hand. However, I understand the reason NOT to post those types of photos here. It would change the whole concept of the thread and turn it into something better posted in "Bedlam". #58Posted 2010-05-12 09:11:22 Let me know what you think. Please do not copy the photos, #61Posted 2010-05-12 22:20:18 in the second pictures the colours are 100% real, nothing changed. it was a real golden light...

Quote The Vulcan- And was the "horizon/sea slopping downhill/uphill" ? Why don't you evaluate your images before posting?
The Vulcan, I think that's a bit harsh on a fairly new poster, who is just sharing their photo's with others. I liked your photos zappalot. Didn't think this was a competition for best edited photo Here goes my original's. Probably make them look a lot better with Photoshop, but isn't that cheating? Railay Beach May 2006

Here is the fully dressed Thai beach vendor, just for you, Kan. Fortunately, it was not the majority... Well in Kan and around Thai beaches it is the majority of grown-ups (Thais that is), Thai culture and all. Both of them went in the water as they came out ![]() Sawadee Love the green monster. #67Posted 2010-05-15 11:16:51
And finally, a trip around Phuket. Phuket not my most favourite place in Thailand because I find it a bit over priced when compared to other parts of Thailand. But it's always worth a trip once in a while. ![]() It's where my friend stalked and caught a bright blue parrot fish by hand and later ate it. ![]() Always love looking at your pics Ian - you seem to have a wonderful time during the 5 or 6 months you spend in Thailand every year, as evidenced by your photographs. Don't worry what the whingers say regarding your posts...I'm sure there are many others here who enjoy reading and seeing what you get up to. I think most of those who do complain are just plain jealous you're having more fun than them #68Posted 2010-05-17 21:25:22
Let me know what you think. Please do not copy the photos, 1. Thumbnails are very neat and tidily arranged. 2. Photos are too large for me to look at, as I am on a slow line.
