Sometimes, at least for me, here in the glorious "Land 'O Thais", life can get me down a little. When living here starts to wear on me, I listen to this song, by: KISS (go figure, lol).
Believe me, I've had more than my share of "Crazy Crazy Nites" in Bangkok over the last 5+ years, as have most foreigners living here. Enjoy; BTW: here're the lyrics! Sing along, I'm sure you can all keep up. Quote
Whoow! Here's a little song for everybody out there. People try to take my soul away but I don't hear the crap that they all say They try to tell us, we don't belong that's alright, we're millions strong This is my music, it makes me proud These are my people and this is my crowd These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights Sometimes days are so hard to survive. Oh Yeah! A million ways to bury you alive. Hey! The sun goes down like a bad bad dream You're wound up tight, gotta let off steam They say they can break you again and again If life is a radio, turn it up to ten These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights And they try to tell us, that we don't belong but that's alright, were millions strong You are my people, you are my crowd this is our music, we love it loud These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights #43Posted 2010-12-06 18:06:17
Wax and Wire by Loch Lomond, the first track in this video - easily the best thing I've seen on youtube all year.

This has to rank up there as possibly the most mindless thai song ever written
This is a song by the weirdly named and seemingly marginally talented 3 thai gurl band called; "Blueberry R Siam", or in thai; บลูเบอร์รี่ อาร์ สยาม. It's called "Chi-mi Chi-mi" or again in thai; ชิมิ ชิมิ. It is almost impossiblt to go to any club playing current thai music and NOT hear this song at some point in the evening, often several times! Sadly I cannot get the mind-numbing chorus out of my head. Enjoy, or not. ... #45Posted 2010-12-12 08:26:21

Enjoy, or not. ... my 12 year old niece loves that song and has even got her own little dance routine to go with it. that shes been trying to teach my 1 and a half year old daughter, hands signs and all. kind of cute really to see them mucking around, laughing and having fun ! heres another one shes got her cousin into too.
