As someone else mentioned, the Tourist Police are using "1155" now as their main contact number.

Also, the Immigration office is located in Jomtien on soi 5 now.
Opening hours are 08:30-16:30 weekdays, 08:30-12:00 (extentions/notifications only) on Saturdays (tel. +66-38252750 )

I've heard (some months ago), that the phone numbers (mobile) are about to get an extra digit.

Question is: Who knows anything about this action?

Have a look at this thread which is currently running.
It includes the following:

"(Pattaya Expats Club) The Thai Government have announced changes to the Mobile Phone
Numbering System. It is planned to add another digit - an 8. e.g. an existing
number (01 234 5678) will become (081 234 5678). This will apply to all
providers of Mobile services. If you plan a change to your business
cards, please be aware. The suggestion is for this to happen in 2006."

Pattaya Memorial Hospital phone number is wrong. Here is the correct number from their website: PATTAYA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL 328/1 Moo 9, Central Pattaya Rd., Nongprue Banglamung, Chonburi 20150. Tel. (038) 488777. Fax. (038) 422740, 427742

Please update. Thank you.

The Tourist Police's phone number is 1155, but if you phone them by mobile, you'll get connected to the TP in Bangkok and they can't put you through.

Better to use the previous mentioned: 038- 429371, it will lead you straight to the bottom of the Buddha Hill, between Pattaya and Jomtien.

Since some of these numbers are out of date, maybe someone could post the Right numbers. It would be much easier than scowling up and down, to figure out what is the right number. No need for all the bar numbers, and everyones old girl friend numbers, just the usual important numbers.

Thank You!
