Why doesn't someone of 'us' living near Downtown Hotel, pay a visit and collect samples from swimming pool and food.
Maybe after that, we could go to Japan and take some samples inside the reactor that is in the middle if a meltdown. Posted Image

555. i noticed that bumpkin is not in or near gun shot range of Chiang Mai at the moment of his suggestion

Whatever happened to business at thehotel? Would think that all the bad press would have killed off business!
It did, but re naming the hotel was quite simple. No big follow up on this disaster/cover-up. There was no mega probe into the matter from government-TAT-Health-only time as always is the Thai way of forgetting. For all the posts that were answered, and queries the one thing that stood out the most was that the Hotel was left open and running all the time, It should have been closed so proper forensics could have been carried out. During the findings it was reported that areas were stripped and redecorated, astonishing to say the least. We do Know who were the owners, DON'T WE.

According to the other paper this morning, Chiang Mai's The Downtown Inn, nicknamed the "Death Hotel" for the multiple unsolved deaths occurring there, is going to be demolished.

According to the Building Control Division of Chiang Mai's local administration, The Downtown Inn will be replaced by a new upscale boutique hotel.

The Changklan Way Company has requested to tear down The Downtown Inn hotel building and also filed to have a new hotel built on the site. The company also owns the Empress Hotel and the Park Hotel in Chiang Mai's Changklan road.
