Hello all - I obtained a non-immigrant education visa today in KL, by virtue of my enrollment in a 1-year language course at the Walen school in Chiang Mai.  The price has gone up a bit, it was 220 ringgit or 2200 baht for the 1st quarter.  As I recall it can be renewed inside thailand @ the immigration office for 1900 baht each 3mos, up to a duration of 1 year.  It was really slow dropping off my passport, I was there almost 3hrs, but picking it up (next day) they were incredibly efficient.  Thank you, thailand
