Yes, when i did a search it said: "email has been removed due to thaivisa forum rules"
But now i have seen 2 different emails xxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com & xxxxxxxxx@ymail.com is ymail.com just short for yahoo.com, or is it another new email ? if so, is the old email valid ? as i have never heard of ymail #52Posted 2011-09-03 05:41:07
The embassy webiste now states the following regarding tourist visas: Quote Tourist Visa How about, Quote "Dear Sir or Madam, The reason I have not included a letter explaining why I have not included a letter is because your boss in Bangkok who ultimately pays your pathetic little pen-pushers salary doesn't state that such a letter is needed. Please get a life and give me the bloody visa FFS. Yours Sincerely, JAFT" #53Posted 2011-09-03 05:54:42

I just submitted an application for a tourist visa in KL and was not asked for confirmation of a hotel reservation or an airline ticket.
However this is my third back to back tourist visa and I was told it is may last. Three is the maximum. I thought the three visa maximum was scrapped some time ago. Can anyone confirm ?? #58Posted 2011-09-07 12:48:51
What is allowed is up to the consulate involved. But three seems to be often talked about lately at several locations.

Any word from Vientiane of these changes?

I was dumb enough to transfer my double entry TV recently to my new passport, so do i stand a chance for a 2nd double entry tourist visa or not ? #61Posted 2011-09-07 18:29:49
Believe most checks, when made, are just count of visa stamps but really no way to know in advance. From reports so far would put your chance between fair and good to obtain at locations that currently issue.

On Sep 19th I went with my normal visa service (http://www.thaivisaservice.com/) to the Vientiane office and was denied. I was originally planning to go to the Cambodia office but my agent was currently stuck there with a group of 60 people trying to get visas and also denied. I have 3 back to back visas - 2 from Vientiane (1 double/1 single) and 1 double from Phnom Penh. Quite a few people in Vientiane were denied as well and they gave us a preprinted form stating the reason for denial was people working illegally. So I just went with the 15 day and will try again on Oct 4th. If anyone else with 3 visas has been able to get one please post the office and agent you used. Thanks.
