I just arrived in Samui, and I'd like to meet other geek/techies in Thailand.
If some of you live/travel in Samui and want to discuss about the techs we love near a beer/cofee/whatever,

I don't know if a LUG exists in Samui, If anyone have information about this, it's welcome.
(I know no Perl monger group exists...)

I love Linux (mainly using Debian and Ubuntu), computer security, programming (Perl !) and

it was a bit of a challenge to set up something in BKK so I won't be too optimistic about Samui but hey, who knows...

arhuman, were you able to get a bunch of like minds together. I'm basically in the same situation but located out of Korat. If you are even find a good volunteer project that requires Cisco-fu or dare I say OBSD PF-fu love to join in. whoa did you just reference Daniel Hartmeier's PF and Theo DeRaadt's OpenBSD. nice.
