The photos show headstones along the church walls. Could anyone shed me some lights as to how the bodies were positioned in the graves. These headstones are from 18th-19th centuries in London. Could it be the case that the vacinity of the church back then were larger than what it is today, when the church had to put enclosure around, these graves were squeezed along the walls?

This has nothing to do with Buddhism but as well relates to spirituality.
