Whenever I am in need of a little slapstick, or lowbrow comic relief, I reach no further than the Chiang Rai Forum. The trials and tribulations of the current crop of frequent posters are diverting and at times risible. Keep up the good work guys, you are performing an important function here. We need someone holding down the fort and lifting our spirits.

We only do our best VF... it's hard but someone has to stand up when things get tough.
(And not so much of the "low brow comic relief" either... what other kind is there?) Edited by sceadugenga, 2011-11-05 11:17:26. #3Posted 2011-11-05 12:37:45
guess I just posted on the wrong thread, or perhaps not... I'm certainly not drunk, although it's past noon...

Its also educational. I've recently become aware that I'm probably not a 'Real Man' or maybe I'm just 'Holier than Thao'. Sounds painful !
I don't drink enough alcohol, I've never had a 'Happy Ending' , or a 'Soapy'. .................. I guess there's still time but still I'm obviously a sad individual and a disgrace to the CR forum. So , where can I get my first , and it'd better be my last 'Soapy' ? I'd prefer it to be administered by Females if I have a choice #5Posted 2011-11-05 18:11:35
I'll download the first series of "Neighbours" and let you have it.

The last changing of the guard here, felt more like a coup with the more modern, relevant and often irreverent upstarts wresting power from the over inflated egos of a bygone era. This time around it feels more like a shirking of responsibility through a lack of interest, allowing all manner of miscreants to slink into the void.
Change is good they say, so hopefully things will continue to change, perhaps even for the better at some point. #7Posted 2011-11-05 19:40:51
I had the opinion it was very quiet on this forum lately!

Variety certainly makes a more interesting community.

Then continue " I am looking for a soapy from a lady, preferably with soapy water, left over from washing silk worm thread '' If he mentions knitting needles, tell him you have your own. Please do not mention Kandahar, whatever you do. Oh, and good luck. #10Posted 2011-11-06 03:27:47
Real men NEVER need to Bragg. If in doubt about one's Masculinity, we only need to ask the Misses
Drinking enough or not driniking at all is a personal choice. Most times in Thailand Drinking Alcohol is mostly a Social Thing. As for the Hollier than Thaow, maybe One needs to open a Shelter and Spiritual Enlightment Center (Free of Charge Of Course) for the Miscreadnt's that dont meet the Grand Phoo Bhaa's Expectations. Just to make it clear....
The term Grand Phoo Bhaa was and is not intended to refer to TV Mod's. It is in referance to person or persons speaking for a certain group of like minded persons on TV Edited by KimoMax, 2011-11-06 11:07:47. #13Posted 2011-11-08 07:03:50

I am building in CR at the moment but early in the new year I will be moving in. I will attempt a sense of humor at that time, if the CR forum members will have me. Just don't tell the CM members, they are a sensitive and insecure bunch. I prefer to slip away and avoid all those tears.
