any unsalted butter should do,try and find a delli that sells it loose much cheeper,i use orchid.

Why not just buy Ghee? It is on sale in Little India. Try the I ndian grocery shop at 329 Soi PrtooleckLek Chakraphet Road ,Pranakorn Or phone -0814455736. This is the best Indian grocery shop in Bangkok.The owner also speaks very good English
