I am sure you have seen the various Thai brands of bullion for soup with chicken, pork or beef flavor. I believe that Maggi is a common brand. This powder is put into the water to make a broth and then of course noodle meat and veggie added later with other spices.
I have seen this powder in intstant noodle packages (Duck flavored) but for some reason, I never see it as a stand alone product as it exists for chicken/pork/beef
