Handy thing to know and do is keep your aircon tip-top, stop it ponging and increase efficiency etc.
This was how the pro's did it, Thai Style and I watched as all was revealed...

That's a great video, well edited and informative. The company that I get to clean my units create a bag around the aircon using thick cling-film and tape. They spray water, then cut the bag and drain the water into a bucket. I often wondered how other companies clean.
I think it's a great shame that air conditioners aren't better designed to cope with being cleaned, perhaps that's entirely intentional as it keeps sales high. |
