So with christmas around the corner what would you like Santa to bring your club in the January sales? And who do you think might be available?
Actually I dont ask for that much for LFC, simply the strikers hitting the back of the net. I would quite like a striker in the January window but there doesnt seem much available. I dont want Torres (misfiring striker to solve misfiring striker problem) or Tevez (I'll take your money and screw you.) I dont want Yakubu (too flukey) or Hoilett (yes we can create chances already). The Germans have a something to offer I guess. I would say that if there we are not going to get anything you could give RVP at Arsenal a cruciate knee ligament injury. Chelsea a high defensive line and place a small nuclear device at the 3 other clubs that are ahead of us. But I think overall there is going to be a massive shortage of strikers in January. Chelsea need one. Both Man U and Spurs could do with one. Liverpool need one and so do Arsenal. And Man City probably dont need one but as Tevez is off and they have buckets of cash they might take one anyways. #2Posted 2011-12-15 14:18:05
Neymar...or Damaio.
Kjaer......or Cahill. That's it for me. #3Posted 2011-12-15 14:27:37
a fit lucas. or failing that a lad to replace him for now and who can play alongside him when he's back. yann m'vila would do.

Cavani - Striker playing for Napoli, impressed with our two Uruguay signings so far.
A defensive midfeilder to cover for Lucas - not too many options out there...so maybe we can make do with Adam, Henderson, Gerrard, Spearing. A right sided attacker - maybe Hazard for a swap from Lille with Joe Cole And a fully fit Steven Gerrard surely that will be the best signing in January #6Posted 2011-12-15 18:18:25
cavani and hazard? don't want much do you dev. that's about 80m quid there.

I think the best wish is a fit Gerard for the remains of the season. #8Posted 2011-12-15 19:45:51 StevieH said: 1323947905[/url]' post='4914360'] cavani and hazard? don't want much do you dev. that's about 80m quid there. It's very clear about are transfer activity this January
"We'll do our business the way we've been brought up to do our business, and that's privately behind closed doors. We have the option to add if we want to, but we also have another option that we don't have to." -KD #10Posted 2011-12-15 20:35:47

1 A fit Ledley King
2 A striker would be nice. Someone like Karim Benzema or Leandro Damiao (but we've no chance of getting them anyway because of the ludicrous wages being thrown around.) 3 A season ending injury to Chris Foy #14Posted 2011-12-16 12:11:26
Well seeing as we have wasted a squad position. I just want Tevez out and a replacement brought in.

Na smokes, we don't use injuries as an excuse-unlike those on here who preach king in/king out everyweek for what seems like 5 years.

The stats/win/lose/games played speak for themselves, so thers no excuses at all. Its quite simple, when he plays we normally win but how can you accomodate him on the basis of only nine games a season? If he can play, he's probably the best in the league. Whats the excuse? There is none, just stating what i thought was the obvious! #17Posted 2011-12-24 11:57:58
Wesley Sneijder for Man Utd please.

After all, he has already changed club several times in his career, and his present club is not exactly firing on all cylinders. Then again, Italian clubs seem to rarely sell unless they want to. #20Posted 2011-12-24 21:23:31
I reckon he's poor value for what would be a huge fee. No resale value. Plus as you point out Inter are hardly likely to want to sell. He's got four years left on his contract. #21Posted 2011-12-25 12:31:27

You might be correct, but why do you think so? After all, he has already changed club several times in his career, and his present club is not exactly firing on all cylinders. Then again, Italian clubs seem to rarely sell unless they want to. I reckon he's poor value for what would be a huge fee. No resale value. Plus as you point out Inter are hardly likely to want to sell. He's got four years left on his contract. In that case. I want Man United to get Wesley Sneijder as well #23Posted 2011-12-25 13:09:35
