My computer has a green socket for audio output...the audio center has a red and white aux input....it also has twin red & white inputs.which I guess I wont use.
Is this a standard cable I can buy or will it need a special made-up one.?...seems like I will need 7 metres approx

I have just looked up on Google...it appears I need a cable with a3.5mm stereo mini plug at one end and 2 RCA jack plugs at the other.....YES???

cable is a standard cable, but the length you require is probably not.
