I've got an apartment that's 2 bedroom, central, with air conditioning and a 7-11 on the first floor, totally furnished near to MRT Huay Khwang (which can take you everywhere central in Bangkok). Since Bangkok is very big, 'central' does'nt really describe a particular location, but it's pretty much considered that if you're near the MRT or BTS, then that's central.
