Hi

Is it possible to use both the company provided health insurance card and personally acquired health insurance card at the same time?

Let's say, my company provided card's IPD benefit is B2,000 for room and nursing fee. Meanwhile, my personal health card is only B1,500 for room and nursing fee. A typical small private room in St. Louis would cost me around B3000. Would I be able to cover the room and nursing expenses using these two cards?

Thanks a lot!

You would need to check the "first pay/other insurance" provisions of each policy.  Usually when a person wants to get supplemental health insurance to cover costs/deductibles not covered by his primary insurance there are separate/specific policies for those cases...I refer to them as supplemental insurance. That is after your primary health insurance policy pays out you can then send the remaining bills to the company that insured the supplemental insurance policy.
